THE CHALLENGE
Walthamstow-hailing Perky Blenders was set up by a husband and wife duo with a passion for coffee and sustainability.
Starting their grind as a humble little coffee cart outside St James’ Street station, the Perky team cut their teeth by fuelling the early mornings of East Londoners with creamy lattes and punchy flat whites, before later expanding to three neighbourhood coffee shops in the borough.
In no time at all, the family-run business had built a cult following of loyal caffeine addicts in the E17 postcode. But, as the Perky team set their sights on taking their unique door-to-door coffee subscription nationwide, there was a big task ahead.
How do you maintain that distinct east London charm that locals swear by, while reaching out to the whole of the UK? That's where we came in.

The first step was understanding Perky Blenders down to its core. We dived into their story, supped on their single roast blends, and soaked up everything that made them a local legend.
With an understanding of what made this brand special, we crafted a digital strategy that was all about telling their story, making sure that every corner of the UK could get a sip of that east London magic.
Our social media playbook wasn't just about posting; it was a roadmap to connect with both die-hard fans and those who were yet to taste their coffee alchemy. TikTok? Perfect to give folks a quick glimpse of what makes Perky Blenders tick.
The real, unfiltered photos and videos we shot brought that in-person coffee shop feel straight to screens. And our mailers? They're like getting a postcard from a good mate – warm, familiar, and peppered with coffee know-how.
The outcome? Perky Blenders now serves its unique flavour across the UK, but at its heart, it still retains that ‘favourite neighbourhood coffee shop’ vibe.
